Scream 6 Synopsis Teases A Darker Story For Sam And Tara

It's hard to believe that horror fans are only a month away from the release of the highly anticipated Scream VI . The slasher brought blood-soaked horror from Woodsboro to the streets of New York. The first full trailer, released in January, showcases a much darker film than fans of the meta-franchise are used to seeing. But thanks to Alamo Drafthouse, a new Scream VI synopsis doubles down on the darkness of that final episode and the trauma that sisters Sam ( Melissa Barrera ) and Tara Carpenter ( Jenna Ortega ) endured. As the survivors of the recent attack in Woodsboro travel to New York to attend college, our youngest daughter, Tara, begins to have a mental breakdown when she sees the ghost of a killer from the past. Although the trailers have been out for a few weeks, there is still a lot of mystery about this New York murder plot. That changes with this frankly insane synopsis.
