Berlin Film Festival Winners: French Documentary ‘On The Adamant By Nicolas Philibert Wins Golden Bear

The film tells the story of a unique kindergarten in the heart of Paris that takes in adults with mental disorders and provides them with time- and place-specific care to help them recover or cheer up.

Introducing the film, judging panel Kristen Stewart said the film was "brilliantly made" and "a cinematic testament to the vital need for human expression."

Other international award winners include Philippe Garrel, who won the Silver Bear for Best Director for his latest film , The Great Chariot (The Plough) .
