Visual effects are an incredibly complex art form. And if done well, audiences will be elated and continue to appreciate the amazing CGI for years to come. Like Jurassic Park , Avatar and Avengers: Endgame are some of the best examples of CGI that we appreciate today and probably always will. Of course, someone might prefer practical effects to help immerse the viewer in the movie over the abundance of computer graphics. However, there are some CGI moments that go unnoticed. With that in mind, here are the best CGI moments in the movie you might not have noticed.

Dark Shadows (2012)

You know, being nocturnal creatures of the dead, vampires aren't exactly fancy. So when Tim Burton was commissioned to make a movie about vampires, he decided to capitalize on his gothic sensibility and treat the undead with a sense of reality, or at least stick to their classic mythology. First, Chris Hemsworth had to dress up. You get used to the bandages, but they tend to fall off when you wear them. So instead the training patch is removed and the CG is put in its place.

Jurassic Park is a master class in CGI, and 20 years later, the movie still manages to surprise audiences. The T-Rex attack in the corral and the "Welcome to Jurassic Park" moments are without a doubt some of the most memorable scenes in the movie. But another scene definitely stands out with subtle CGI moments that viewers might have missed.

In the scene where Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler, Tim Murphy and his sister Lex are trying to escape from a wild Velociraptor they are hunting, we see Lex hanging from the ceiling above a Velociraptor as he is about to die. Face Swap - Logan (2017)

James Mangold's Logan is undoubtedly one of the best superhero movies of all time. The film expands on Logan's story with a violent and emotional ending for the character. Likewise, the movie is full of amazing and exciting scenes, perhaps the most memorable of which is the limousine stunt. In many scene shots, we see Hugh Jackman driving a limousine. But you might be shocked to learn that this isn't Hugh Jackman. The scene was shot by a stuntman, and James Mangold later proceeded to superimpose Hugh Jackman's face onto the stuntman during post-production.

The John Wick franchise has an incredible amount of great CGI that can overshadow the viewer. Even more impressive than the CGI fight we mentioned earlier is the epic fight scene in the knife shop. At the scene, John Wick and the killers who tried to kill him broke a lot of glass trying to take all the knives. However, viewers may be shocked to know that all the glass in the scene is CGI, and there is a lot of glass.

Later in post-production, they added CGI outfits. The final product was so polished that we still find it hard to believe the garment was computer generated.
