Henry Cavill's New Movie Is Heading To Prime Video

Henry Cavill and Eiza Gonzalez's new film The Ministry of Ungentlemen's War is coming to Prime Video.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lionsgate and Amazon have teamed up to acquire the rights to the film, with the former securing distribution rights in the US and the latter in other territories including Europe, Central and South America and India.

Directed by Guy Ritchie and inspired by true events, this World War II epic follows Winston Churchill and James Bond writer Ian Fleming as they set up an undercover fighter in World War II.

The unit's unconventional fighting tactics against the Nazis helped turn the tide of the war and eventually became known as the Black Ops units.

The film stars Cavill and Gonzalez alongside Henry Golding, Cary Elwes, Alan Ritchson, Henry Zaga, Alex Pettyfer, Hero of Fiennes-Tiffin, Babs Olusanmokun and Til Schweiger.

It has also been reported that Lionsgate is planning a theatrical release for The Ministry of Ungentlemen's War next year, positioning the film as the first installment in a possible franchise.

Following the announcement that principal photography had begun in Turkey on February 13, Richie and the film's producers said in a statement, “When we start production in Turkey, we will be hundreds of miles from the epicenter of the recent earthquake, so we will. "We are thinking of the families and teammates from this region. We would like to convey our deepest condolences to the Turkish people.
